私はコストコの中にいました。ニュースではスロープのことしかありませんでしたが、中も悲惨です。天井からは照明が綿ぼこりとともにあちこちで落ちてきて割れ、山積みの荷物は倒れまくり、生きてでて来たのが不思議な位です。2歳の子供と4ヶ月の赤ちゃんと母で来ましたが地獄を味わいました。駐車場にとめてた車には犬もいて、崩れ落ちそうな中、自ら助け出しにいってくれた従業員の勇敢な対応に感動しました。避難後も軽装なみんなに商品のタオルや水、食料、オムツなどをどんどん提供してくれ、後日の車の対応などの連絡先を収集しててすごかったです。危険な中、必死に対応してくれた方たちや私たちのような被災者のことを考えたらそんな事は言えません。そしてガラスや埃まみれのもの商品なので送るなんてできないと思います。私たちが無事に生きて帰れたのもコストコの従業員さんたちの必死の対応のおかげだと思ってます。
